Past and Present YDE Members Invited to Luncheon

Hello Youth Dance Ensemble Members Past and Present,

The 30th Anniversary is an important historical event for all of us. Without the Lula Washington Dance Theatre Foundation, many of us may not have become the successful adults and youth we are today. Lula’s gift of giving through the art of dance helped mold us as young children, teens and adults. The legacy of Lula lives on through us. Being a Youth Dance Ensemble member is a very important role. You inspire students at the studio to take dance seriously and you inspire those in the community to try something new. The Youth Dance Ensemble is special to us. Its legacy continues with you. You guys are Youth Idols!!! The 30th Anniversary is a celebration for you too. Tahia and I have planned a special luncheon on February 7th at 1:00 p.m. at the Proud Bird. This will give all of you the perfect opportunity to share your LWDT experiences and meet alumni ensemble members. We hope to see you there!
