LWDT Company Auditions

Our touring company is currently holding ongoing auditions for men and women:

Auditions happen weekly in Company Class on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. at the Lula Washington Dance Theatre studio.
Call 323-292-5852 or contact us to confirm. The audition class is a blending of ballet and modern dance. The class is intermediate/advanced and is 90 minutes. Plan to stay after class to learn repertory. 

We are looking for both male and female dancers, ages 18+. Dancers should be ready for immediate work and touring.

    Hi there. My name is Brittany Young and I am a dancer, interested in the LWDT Company. I am a 2009 BFA graduate from New World School of the Arts (Miami, Fl) under the direction of Dean Daniel Lewis and i am a 2005 graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (Jacksonville, Fl) under the direction of Dr. Phyllis Penney.
    I have plans to relocate to the Los Angeles area, at the beginning of December 2010, with the interest of developing a relationship with the LWDT Company. Tho i currently reside in NY, would it be possible for me to set up an audition with the Company?

      Thanks for your interest! We suggest that once you come out to Los Angeles, come to our studio on Crenshaw Blvd and take our open company class Mon-Fri 11am-12:30pm.
